hey..i have 2 machines that i want to set up a network between. one's a desktop running windows xp. the other is a dell laptop that has no hard drive. i want to use a 4port switch that i have to set up the network between them so that the laptop can boot xp over the network, and have access to the desktop's resources...any help given appreciated

As for booting XP over the network with your setup... I'm fairly certain this isn't possible (without some sort of server or 3rd party application in the mix). I could be wrong though
