Is it possible for a Router to bypass the security of the network it is connected to?

Sorry if this sounds stupid.

no, unless you make secure connections to other router outside the network, but this also can be blocked, anyway, you may want to use tunneling

So you want to know whether one can bypass the network security using a router. The answer is no. How many router are you using and how many networks. Tunneling method provided by cocolio is good, but most of the type it is use when the network is not secured.
