Hello everyone, I am a college student who currently is unable to play an online game on my Ps3 due to a P2P blocker. I have contacted the ITS department at my university, and would like anyone else's insight if possible on how to bypass it legally so that I can play with my friends. If ITS rejects doing anything, is there anything else I can do? Thanks guys.

It would depend on the circumstance.

If the IT department rejected due to a breach of policy, then it is "illegal".

If they rejected due to not wanting to take care of it (Lazy) you can possible find other methods.

Setup a Router with DD-WRT. Use any of the 3rd party, OpenVPN providers. You can configure DD-wrt to always use a Remote VPN. The only thing your IT would see are outbound packets to the VPN provider and nothing else.
