Hi !
I recently installed a ethernet card on my PC to transfer some data from a IBM Thinkpad laptop. I set all the sharing properties and began to transfer data. The problem is, the connection transfers some 100MB correctly and it hangs, saying that a particular file being downloaded is not accessible. The file is not a particular one - the connection just picks on a file after around 100MB of data transfer to close transfer.

Please help

You might consider just buying a hub or router to transfer data instead. Windows sucks, so don't use their way of doing things. you could even just burn data on disks and transfer it like that.
