I just moved to a new apartment, I used to have AT&T, but now I have Xfinity. I pay for gigabit, and my download speeds are always fine, and my ping times and upload seems reasonable, but at random points in the day things just stop loading and a few minutes later its fine.

I've tried other devices in my house, they seem fine, but then when I go back to my computer its OK already so I don't know what the issue was.

Because its so transient and lasts only a few minutes at a time, I don't know how to debug it.

Have you tried connecting the computer direct to the router using an ethernet cable to see if the issue still persists?

The reason behinf Internet randomly stops working might be:

  • Check the poweroption and make sure it is set to hight performance
  • Outdated driver
