Re: You need to set drop permission for the account you're using. Log in as root and execute the following sql script - GRANT DROP ON *.* TO 'user'@'localhost'; where user is the account in question. | |
Re: Try "sudo chown mysql -R". The usual username used for the mysqld service is mysql but it's best to check your user account list file. | |

Re: Check your browser connection settings. You want to have all browsers discover their own path to the internet. If Windows own connection settings (Control Panel etc.) are not set right and all other browsers are using Windows settings then you will get this kind of behaviour. | |
Re: How much space is left on your hard drive? If any partition visible to Windows is 80% full or more then Windows performance starts to suffer big time. |
