First of all, iexplore is Internet Explorer, just so you know. As for why it's taking up so many resources...it could be that it is infected with some kind of spyware or someting. The first thing I'd do is run both Spybot Search And Destroy and Adaware and se if …

If I were you, I'd start looking for a new hard drive. It sounds like yours is about to go up.

I agree with the above poster. If oyu have more than one stick of RAM iin the computer, remove one and try booting again. If you still get problems, replace the stick you removed, and remove the otehr. Ifyou only have one stick of RAM in the computer, take it …

In internet Explorer, go to the Tools menu, clcik on Internet Options. Then click on Delete Cookies, then Delete Files. This will clear your browser's cache, which should eliminate the problem your having with viewing pictures.
http://img143.imageshack.us/img143/7682/clipboard01si3.png Every time i play a video online, I get this little fault in the video. Any ideas?
My suggestion would be to uninstall and reinstall WMP11b. Sometime the codec's WMP uses to play video files develop problems, and reinstalling WMP will get rid of those problems.

This is kind of tricky to explain, but I'll try my best to explain it as clearly as possible. For some reason, probably to protect the computer, the power pack automatically goes off if either end shouldcome unplugged. What you have to do is plug the wall end in first. …

I concur. I strongly doubt that you'll have any luck getting that to work.

Sounds to me like some kind of adware or Spyware. Run spybot Search And Destroy and Adaware.

I would suggest uninstalling the sound card from Device Manager and then reinstalling it.

I don;t know that a HD could be "pirated", but it certainly is possible that the guy who installedit could've put a virus on it. Have you run a virus scan? How about sa spyware or adware scan? I would suggest at least running Spybot Search and Destroy, and Adaware, …

If talking to Microsoft doesn't work, try going to 9software.com. They used to sell license numbers for software products, which is much cheaper than having to buy another copy of Windows. Don't know if they still do that, but they used too.

It could also be the RAM, CPU, hard drive, or video Card. There''s not enough information to tell.

You should be able to play that game with no problems on an E-Machines, so I would suggest finding and installing the latest drier for your video card.
I thought Microsoft didn't care anymore about win 95, 98 and me. What I heard was that if you pirated those, Microsoft won't care or at least won't sue you, since they don't provide support for those anymore.
This isn;t totally true. I'veheardofa few instances were Microsoft prosecuted people for …

What;s happened here is that shell32.dll(an extremely important system file) has become corrupt. Your going to have to reinstall Windows.

Have you tried scanning your system with spybot Search and Destroy or Adaware? I would suggest scanning with both. I've worked on computers that were very heavily infested with viruses, adware, spyware, etc. and have never had either program crash.
