Modules are a way to declare objects at one place and access them globally.

yes, absolutely like debasisdas. modules helps u to declared globally function, procedure, variable, etc. so you didn't have to declare them again in every form.

Jx_Man 987 Nearly a Senior Poster Featured Poster

your code is fine. so what you want to do.

Jx_Man 987 Nearly a Senior Poster Featured Poster

I know vb.net not vb

vb.net is vb.

I want to ask is there so much difference b/w vb & Vb.Net.

not much different, you will find about encapsulation in vb.net, you cannot access class directly in .net.
others think is same, if you good in vb 6 there are none problem to migrate.

Jx_Man 987 Nearly a Senior Poster Featured Poster

no no ... not in this thread but in vb 6 forum. go to "Software Development" and put your cursor on there. pop menu will go down, select for vb 4/5/6. in this section you will see "Start New Thread", a yellow one on top of post. if u want to post in other section do the same think. or you can click "new thread" on this thread, see in above of post box.

Jx_Man 987 Nearly a Senior Poster Featured Poster

i think this code is alright.

Jx_Man 987 Nearly a Senior Poster Featured Poster

key char = 8 is backspace

Jx_Man 987 Nearly a Senior Poster Featured Poster

your date serial parameter is wrong

DateSerial(Day, Month, Year)

DateSerial(Year, Month, Day)
Ex :

DateSerial(1973, 3, 70) = 5/9/1973

-> 70 days from 1 march 1973

DateSerial(Year(now.date),Month(now.date), now.day + 100)

-> 100 days from now (today)
