People are so cheap Even a few bucks a month is too expensive to safehouse your data.
May be he/she dont have that much money in initial stage ! no matter $1 or $100000 its something like that when anyone wants to start a forum usually he/she starts with free PHPbb after that if they feel or need and if they would have money will upgrade to IPB or Vb.
freewebspace forums are good for hosting details free and paid i have seen there one free and good hosting x10hosting they are giving you cPanel hosting .
But if you seriously thinking to start a site for long time go for paid hosting some webhost are providing trial period to test them.

My question is Digitalpoint(DP) has :--Members: 126,796, Active Members: 43,704
And here in daniweb :-- Members: 258,748
Then why Dp has ALexa rank of 253 and Daniweb 4675 ? What is major factor of Dp ? I Figure that Daniweb should have higher rank than Dp because of simplicity and content rich materials, altough Dp has same thing .
Is this figures only show that Dp has only higher Rank in ALexa ?
What makes Dp more Rank Holder we any one can clear it or have any idea it would be great .
The only 1 reason i found that Dp is specially for webmasters and most of the webmaster use Alexa toolbar that directly affect alexa rank ! is there anything else that makes huge difference between these two Big players !!

I think every hosting is good if they fulfill you needs if server is fast approx 99% uptime and real time support. I Have used bluehost it was good ! but because of some extra server requirements i left them. I want to mention here support of blue host is very nice ,if you need big space huge bandwidth go for dreamhost i never used it but they claim to provide more than 500 Gb space and approx 4TB Bandwidth its really like dream .
