Windows XP Pro. Right-click on desktop and hit Properties won't bring up display properties (to adjust resolution for example). Tried that in control panel to bring up display stil doesn't do it. Re: I've had good luck with Paint Shop Pro 7 for photos and Fireworks for graphics. Have also used Photoshop but for simple, quick and dirty graphics, PSP is a lot smaller of a program, quicker to load and much much cheaper. | |

Re: I'm sure you have multiple programs running in the background that kicks in periodically during the defrag. When that happens defrag waits for it, then starts over. That's why it never ends. Close off background programs one by one and run defrag agian. | |
