Thirty hand loaded shots, six clips(5rnd.), three clips(10rnd.), two clips(15rnd.), one clip(30rnd.), 3/4 of a clip(40rnd.). Combination of the above.

I am going with one 30 or 40 round clip. It appears he was a convicted felon and they are now no longer identifying the type so specifically (ie no longer referring to the weapon to an ak-47) but I am going to guess it was in the 'assault weapon' category.

Shots fired on I5 Seattle (5-6 shots - probably more - definitely semi-auto.)

AK47 - 2 suspects, one captured

concussion grenades

Motorists on freeway for about 2 hours

seems like spotted on both sides of f-way

ah - 2nd guy surrendered but does not have weapon

No injuries reported (I can hear sirens in distance)
2nd suspect white male

officers immediately blocked access to/from freeway - North Seattle Community College is in the area and would have been a terror to dig an armed person out of as it is a maze of concrete walkways both elevated and subbed

more than 30 round fired (one clips worth??)

When I was working for a computer forensic team, I had about 15 computers working 22 printers - I kept about a hundred temps running. We were reconstructing email for a couple of lawsuits - once the emails were printed they were sent to a senior document clerk who then made sure that every person, company, or entity mention had their own copy printed and filed

Sorry, it is dead - you might be able to revive it but I would not hold my breath. The 'safely remove hardware' is just what it says it is - when you do not use it - you are not safely removing your hardware. It does not matter if it did not matter the first time or the the 1,000th time - learn from this experience.

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, but the eyes are led by the heart.

The anatomy envisioned by these bromides is hysterical:

  • the quickest way to the heart is through the stomach
  • absence makes the heart grow fonder
  • Keep your feet on the ground, your nose to the grindstone and your shoulder to the wheel

LadderMills, developed by Professor Wubbo Ockels – perhaps most famous for being the first Dutch astronaut in space - are rotating loops of kites which catch the wind at a height of 10 kilometres. The wind is twenty times more powerful at this height than at ground level. The LadderMills are attached to a generator on the ground by means of a cable.

Point taken and sincere apologies if anyone truly offended. Btwn the "support" centre issue and being in severe pain these last weeks from a back injury (no excuse I know), have not been in the most tolerant of moods.

Been there, done that - I am on my 9th year of 24 hour per day pain - the adjustment required is extreme. I alienated a lot of people (some here) before I came to terms. I hope yours is temporary! I actually started posting (elsewhere) as Grumpy Old Man - it helps me keep my sense of humor.

I do not want to carry this too far off topic but too many people too often talk about killing off people who offend them - you may not mean it but I do not know that (who would've thought this was serious). Why is the death of others a valid form of blowing off steam?

So here is what I am listening to right now.

I do not think much of the product - it is like extended warranties, credit card protection, and other 'scams'. If you are really worried about protecting yourself against fraud or identity theft, call the credit reporting agencies and freeze your account. When you want to take out a loan or whatever, call and unfreeze it.

You want to google bittorrent - wiki has some good information on it and will give you an idea about what front end to use. BitTorrent is the 'below the surface' stuff that takes care of the downloading - there are a lot of programs that operate on the front end to make the process pretty much point and click.

Google about a bit, check out the widipedia stuff and if you have more questions come on back.

Well, it depends on what needs repair.

There is no repair for bullet holes, most fires, breaking it into pieces is pretty bad too. Most repairs that actually work include plugging it in; removing and reinserting the various pieces and sometimes buying a new power supply.
