In the US, they already work for all stores cause they use tham sort of like a creadit card. Also, they are going start to start putting chips in us pass ports so that from say, 5 ft away (I guess you don't use feet as a messuerment :) ), they can tell every thing about you that is on your pass port. The trick with the new US passports is to whack them with a rubber hammer as soon as you get it. Americans are not hated around the world - only someone who does not travel would think this. Break it down for me - use a flexible tube (like vacuum cleaner hose) aimed at each fan - do all the fans make the same amount of noise? Does the noise change if the case is open? Do the fans pulling air make the same noise as those pushing air (in/outtake)?

The French have Quatorze Juillet - July 14th aka Bastille Day. The temperature in Paris is about 105 degs F and is the middle of Tour de France. The only people in town are tourists and the poor retail folk who have to deal with them (and you wonder why the waiter is rude); everyone else is in the south of France. The last time I was there for Quatorze Juillet Jean-michel Jarre set up in Le Grand Arch and played a concert that was broadcast all over Paris and my cousins and I sat around in shorts watching TdF - it was too hot for me.

I do not understand the need; there are sites that are dedicated to that run by professionals who dedicate their lives to the job. An amateur site would be prone to the "warn all your friends" emails and just clog the system. Maybe a 'stickie' linked out to the pros might help (if this is not already done). There is already a section for help after the fact.
