I will suggest you to use sizeof operator for second parameter in the fread function. although, it will work correctly for some cases, but it will be problematic if integer is of 4 bytes on any other machine. try to change that, may be it will work. hope it helps! thanks.

i don't think there is any function scanf_s in the library. replace scanf_s with scanf and then try to run it. I think everything else is looking fine to me. hope it helps! thanks.
I will say that std is a "thing"(don't know how to explain this word) in which many things are declared. like cout, cin,etc for an instance. you have to mention it's declaration place before using it. so two ways are there. 1. use std::cout at each place instead of cout. 2. Add using namespace std on the top before using any cout, cin.
a best approach will be that uninstall it and again install your visual studios, 2012. I had same problem 10-11 days back, the problem was solved after reinstalling it. don't know if it will work for you, but it worked for me. hope it helps. thanks.
I am Indian and I have degree of a very highly reputated college in India. I hope you have heard of IIT's which are damn famous all over the world. I am not from there , but still am from a college which ranked 8th in all over India in terms of placements, campus, teaching , infrastructure etc. yes! i agree there is alot of cheating in various universities, but all companies here know the status of those universites and students from there hardly get any job in India atleast. Trust me, engineers from these top colleges are really really really great and there is no match with them as compared to those who cheat with degree.
Good engineers are increasing on per day basis in India but these fake degrees are making out of them. pity! because of this , students who are working hard suffer because of those cheaters. There is nothing to stop them and they will never be stopped. but even after all these things, India still have very high qualitative engineers and they share a big percentage in the ratio of engineers from all over the world. thanks.

yes, Dani you are correct. I got offer from Samsung , India. But My brother has got offer from google, India last month. and now, he is in confusion that should he drop this offer or should he go abroad for higher studies ? that is the main point for which i am asking. Actually, I have learnt C++ much till now . Atleast which i need for my work purposes. I have thought of a project-- desktop calculator. I want to have all these functionalities in it. 1. mathematical functions, 2. prime number checker(will apply primality checking algos), 3. all error handlers (zero divisions error, incorrect expression etc), 4. bit-wise operations (xor, and, or), 5. base-converter functions, 6. excellent UI(colourful like DW :D ), 7. history remeberance feature, 8. checking all entered figures feature and correcting them also, 9. 10-15 digits decimal precision, 10. SI, CI , discounts adjustment feature, 11. graph designing feature, 12. pattern matching algos between some entered numbers (say 10-20)
I know this is not a very "wow" factor project, but i and 2 more people have decided to work on that. I haven't worked on any C++ project till date. worked on MATLAB, PHP and a very small project on C/C++. now this time C++. My bro has also tried a lot, although he was a brilliant student. but again, due to fee parameters, he is a lawyer here. is there any solution of this thing ? yeah. Consult a lawyer. And try to compromise with him only somehow if it is possible, because lawyer fees and the time which courts and lawyer will take, that may cost you much more than the cost which he is expecting from you. i have seen many cases like this (as my brother is professional lawyer), that in these type of cases, you may suffer alot. suffer--> time, money and reputation in some cases. My advice will be that compromise with him if you can otheriwse lawyer is always there for you at any time. ;)
@rahul, i know. never try to propose like this(directly). Indians girls have attitude problem with them, no matter they deserve that or not :p. So, try to go on dates, movies, restraunts, pubs etc. If she is comfortable with you at these places without any problem, then it is GREEN signal for you. If she says "no! akele ? kabhi nahi!", but if she says this in normal way, that means GREEN signal. Tell her stories about relationship of your mutual friends. Like this , in the moon light , sit on your knees and say her "will you be my partner ?". aww!! (looking damn easy, but trust me! Indians girls are damn tuff). This is my long term experience. :)

today is "Rakshabandhan". I don't think many of you have heard of this. in this, sisters tie a band type something on their brother's wrist and in return brother gove gifts to them and they pray for long life of each other. we eat sweets and dance and we have party whole day. music, dance, songs everything rocks today. :-) now, it is first festival of festive season. then dushera, then Diwali, Then many many moree in the queue which will come in FIFO order. :) hehe. thanks :-)

when i visit C or any other section, i see those scrap pictures in the boxes of the persons who don't have their pics uploaded. it always give me feel that website is not loaded properly, so i again refresh it. i am old user of daniweb, so that's why i know it is not any problem, but new user will never get that thing.
Also, those default scrap type image is not looking good to eyes at all. there should be any defualt image or there should be any solution of that thing. it is my opinion, may be it is okay with other people. thanks. :)

firstly, it's not a lie that i am going in last rounds. directi, AMAZON, DE shaw and now 4th one , Inmobi is also added in list. in this also , yesterday, i was in top 6 out of 120 students and again rejected in last round. Do u know i have answered each and every question. i have given him optimal approcahes for 3/4 problems. 4th solution was not optimal but still that was not that bad and he was ok with that. still i was rejected. i asked him after whole process, he said everyone was awesome in last round, but in that can we do ? we have only 2 vacancies. i asked him again to clearify "sir, but there must be some problem related to my attitude, my skills, my communication skills, my knowledge, my behaviour". (this question was asked just to tell you all today because you all were saying that may be i attract attention and all). he said "no! there was nothing like that. you were fine and given all answers but we want only two what can we do in that ?". i said "it's ok sir, bye".
So, now what ? who all were selected again they haven't done coding. they have done just for 2 months and they are not clear even on their C concepts. phew! and they are placed and me ? no , i am not!. what is the reason now. i have asked same question to …

bro, don't worry! i know how you are feeling. you are in same boat like me. i also do topcoder, codeforces, codechef and all. i know what your problem is. i had also thought like you initially, but in one year i started thinking in terms of algorithms. even i implement algorihms in daily life. trust me, just give time to it. in metro, in train, in airplane , while walking, try to think about some problem of SPOJ etc. start thinking, take one problem and try to do it in 1 day or 2 or 3 or 4. you will not believe me but in the beginiing, i once took 11 days to solve one problem which was so easy if i look at it now. i am also going thorugh my internship and placement session , and those stupid companies take those who will give fast algos. :p take one problem, think on it for hours , hours and days. belive me when u will do that problem, you will say "woopieee!!" then you will enter in a cycle. DO PROBLEMS--> INCREASE CONFIDENCE--> DO MORE PROBLEMS--> INCREASE MORE CONFIDENCE... so this will never end. just try my method once and after some time, you will be ere who will say "yes! now i can solve and can see paterns" :) trust me, this is my practical experience and i have gone thorugh same wording which you have written above. thanks.
