Basically I keep getting asked on different laptops and computers whether if they can play certian games and etc.

I would like to be able to just install it and it can run tests on my computers

I also would like to be able to type in / select different components and it could calculate the tests on its own. Like if I build a computer to meet a customers wants I could plug in different component to make sure it would run everything that they would want.

Hi not sure if its exactly what you mean but 3DMARK runs tests on the GPU and CPU and then gives it bench rating. You can compare these on line to see how good it is. It runs stress tests in various different ways to analyze different aspects such as how many polygons can be draw at once etc.
