http://host-tracker.com/ will set you up with a site monitor in about 10 seconds, which monitors from different places around the globe, and keeps running stats. Most if not all of the free monitors I have come accross only check the site every 15 minutes, anything less costs. HostTracker does one minute monitoring intervals for the same price of zero dollars. Monitoring uptime is good.
