hi, if got a strange problem, im developing on localhost, if i try to upload a gif image windows give me the following error message: Apache HTTP Server has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

and then it opens the windows downloader and asks me if i want to download the file, the files it downloads is the image handler, addimage.php.
jpeg images are fine, its only with gif images, the images i am uploading is 10kb MAX.

has anyone encounted this problem?

me again, i just tried it on the actual server. it doesnt give me the above problem, but the gif image is saved completely black
