Nothing.. SAP is different from asp.net .. SAP is basically an ERP Software intended to maintain the Business Transactions over various Modules[Eg, Technical(ABAP and BASIS) and Functional(MM,SD,FICO,PP,HR,Payroll etc.)] in a Company or Enterprise.. On the other hand ASP.Net is a Microsoft Framework for the Development of Web Applications.. We cannot compare each other however we can use both in collaboration to achieve certain business goals..

What does compatite means?

Do you want to integrate sap with asp.net web apps or Do you want a comparison between the two..

If you want to integrate sap with asp.net application.. You need SAP .Net Connector for this.. This will help you asp.net application talk with SAP. Apart from them we can build custom web application like I am building currently which can talk with sap via Excel Files..

There is no reason. SAP is a software products for enterprise resource planning application systems and management (SAP ERP), its enterprise data warehouse product – SAP Business Warehouse (SAP BW)…….....ASP.NET is a Microsoft Framework for the development of Web Forms and Web applications.

You need an SAP.Net Connector to use both in collaboration to achieve certain business goals.
