Hi, I'm new to the forum, and I have a Dell Inspiron 14 laptop with a touchpad problem. When I use the touchpad, it would highlight everything and click all the buttons when I move the cursor over something. It's like I'm pressing the left button selecting constantly, while obviously I'm not. I think it might be a hardwire issue, but is there any possibility to fix it without sending it to Dell? It would be great if you guys can help me out!!!!! Thanks! Nathan

After some minutes a new warning message from the AV appeared, it had detected another *Trojan* wich i told the AV to remove too. 3. When …

The right click on my laptop has stopped working properly. You can drag and highlight things with it but no normal right click functionality. This occurs with the touch pad and when a USB mouse is plugged in also. No problem when in administrator account. All settings are default nothing has changed.

The Swiftpoint Mouse is primarily designed with one purpose in mind, and that is to replace the touchpad on your laptop or netbook. Indeed, unlike any mouse I've ever used (and that includes the smallest of portable units) the Swiftpoint can be comfortably operated within the confines of the palmrest alongside the existing touchpad. Actually, it's even more amazing than that as I am currently using this clever bit of geek design quite comfortably on the very small area of palmrest next to the touchpad on my netbook - and that's an area of just a couple of square inches. …

I have an Acer Aspire 5100 running Windows XP. I recently installed a LightWave USB TV/AV Combo TV aerial unit to enable me to watch TV on my laptop. I live in Uganda so don't have many options apart from this in my place. Everything was fine for a day or so and then my Touchpad stopped working. I plugged in a USB mouse which works. But I want to get my Synaptics TouchPad working again. I reinstalled the latest driver from the Acer website. Now, when I boot up, the touchpad works for around 5 seconds after my desktop …
