I have just recieved my new Cable modem from Telstra.
i was told to purchase anetwork card and connect the modem to the network card.
i installed everything and the modem ran fine for 15mins then i lost the internet connection. the modem still shows as active and my connect is live to the modem. however if i try to ping Google i get no responce as nothing is getting out. if i unsistall the network card via systems device manager then reinstall iam up and running again for a few more mins then i loss the connection again if i revert back to using usb to connect the modem to the computer the problem goes away but a have very slow internet speed.
i have purchased a new network card and still have the same problem i ran winsock fix still have the problem.
has any one cpome accross this before and been able to resolve it?:o
