I just happened to stumble onto this site, but after browsing around it seemed to be a great computer tech community. As a computer science student I'm pretty excited to get active here, as DaniWeb seems to be a veritable gold mine of computer experience and knowledge.
I'm a hardware enthusiast, and love building and tweaking 'ultimate gaming rigs.' However I also really enjoy programming, and think that programming in some capacity is going to be how I 'bring home the bread' when I graduate.
I was a pre-law student for a long time, but let's just say it was a little too dry and dull for me... whereas computers have always gotten by blood pumping. So I decided to take the plunge and switch to Computer Science.
So far it's shaping up to be one of the best decisions of my life!
