Hi, I found Daniweb because I work for a small firm that relies heavily on outside IT support and is sadly lacking in common sense when it comes to computers. We've had several clashes between various outsourcing companies because they don't have a point of contact who can say "you can't update Windows on all PCs because it will interfere with the database" etc. The company were keen to offer me IT training at first but budget restraints and office politics keep postponing it, so I'm here to learn for free if you guys will have me :)
