I have a problem. Everyday i got angry sometimes for no reason.
I sometimes think that i may be a rebellion person. In british english dictionary the word Turk has a synonym as rebellion. i am turkish so it may have to do with my origins. I look at these people in USA, most them are peaceful. i always have the tendency to kick some peoples ass around me. I look for ways to calm my self down. i dont like the current personality that i am. I sometimes want to beat my co-workers. Actually last year i broke my foot while kickboxing, after that incident i learnt to control my anger better.
although my foot still aches i still feel lucky to have broken it.
Anyway i am still in the process of keeping my anger in control.
I will append to this thread if i improve from now on.

Why not get a diary?

it is like open source code thing, i want to make my personality publicly available, redistributable. i mean if good or not, getting some feedback makes me better. Some people do care and give some suggestions.

Well, why not a blog then?

I have endless crap to say, but I don't put it here.

you can put here if you like to share. blog is not as interactive as forum. i dont post things that are read only. i want to know about others opinions too. Do you put your endless crap to anywhere?

I think I know the anger of which you speak, I too get furious over trivial things especially people who don't understand why their e-mail isn't working when their mailbox is full, and many other similar examples of not only ignorance but complete lack of a will to learn (this becomes apparent the 4th or 5th time the same person calls in with the exact same problem)

Fortunately, i dont work for tech support things yet, so i dont have to talk with customers. Because of my hard accent i wouldnt be assigned to such task anyway.
But apathetic co-workers also hard to handle. You go to them with excitement of a new tool or framework, and end up to see "how did your life change now?" look on their face.

Yes. I just started a site were I shove all the pointless idiotic short stories I've been writing lately(Summer break), and other crap.

Odd, since most tech support you get assigned, on the phone, can hardly form a sentence. Of course, some of them aren't even in the US, actually.

We have software support specialists who handle those phones, they ask to us if they cant solve the issue.

could you send the link for the craps please :) ?

Serkan: your whole problem is that you need to get yourself a nice woman to satisfy your lustful desires. One who can relate to you both body and mind, not someone just in virtual computerland. Get married, have a few kids. But stop that kickboxing, it ain't healthy for you :)

i stopped kickboxing a year ago. about finding that woman, i become a member of meetup.com and i think it will work out for me.

i attended some meetings so far. i will keep trying it. the website is very nice, it is not like meeting someone online, your meet as a group in some place, there you have chance the meet individuals. Since more than several people come together, there is no need to trust each other and have long conversations before meeting.

Nothing to worry about it.

there are many religion and religious groups in india that keep fighting with each other. also i have close indian friends who keep saying that they dont like indians :)

Anyway, back to topic... i get angry quite a lot... generally my parents annoy me.

you should go and live alone. you are a guy with 15000 post with good knowledge, you must be earning good money. you can afford it.

And you are much younger.

And last but not least, your native language is english, even you can speak with scottish accent, so as you can understand scottish english, you can speak with all different accents in the world :) even irish maybe :)

eat better and have counceling. it worked for me.

And moving out isn't just that easy. I work two jobs but still live at home...

I'm new to this, IMHO I believe that there is a lot of more important issues to get upset at than little, little things that other people do. And U can not do much to change the situation. What did U solve by kicking & hurting UR foot, real smart, right?? At least U have a foot; people come back from war and don't have that luxury (a foot)!!! Sorry didn't mean to get carrried away. I try to think 'I have 101 problems, but the person next 2 me has 102'.

I also would like to point out that the 'CALLCENTERS', are out-sourced not only to 'INDIA', but to Japan, China, Phillipines, Hondouras, and who knows where else? I don't believe (I don't remember who), was being racist, just stating a fact. Think of all of the out-sourced phone jobs we in the U.S. could be doing. Food for thought.

in the past i used think your way, i used to look below me and i would think, "people dont even have this that and such" and i would be grateful. now i dont think that way because thinking that way has a side effect. if you compare your self with others weaknesses to stay happy, next day you will be jealous when you see someone better than you. so comparison is not a good source of happiness.

Dude, in South Africa, I share a 3 bedroom house with some people from work, rent per month is ZAR 5300 per month (for the entire house, not per person) , which is by todays exchange rate: USD 688.89. You can't just say it's cheap to live somewhere because the rent is cheaper, the costs of living vary greatly for various reasons all over the world.

for USD 688.89 you cant event rent a single room up in newyork. that is why i said florida is cheap.
but last year i used to live in a 40 year old house in istanbul its rent was 1000 dolars per month, even istanbul is much more expensive than florida.

I pay £90 a week ($150 to $200 ?) (but that INCLUDES bills and service charges) for 1 bedroom (with ensuite bathroom) and a shared kitchen/living room (between five people). The UK is expensive....

yeah the UK is expensive even with that bad weather.
