Can anyone out there help ? I have an Acer Travelmate 290 which refuses to give any screen output to either onboard screen or external screen. The battery light comes on and the hard disk light is on and I can hear the hard disk but no output ???? Iit is starting to drive me nuts!

Yep! A very long story but it turned out to be the motherboad, shame!
