I have seen many PTC paid to click websites they get traffic for advertisers, is it a good way to build traffic?

Yes, you may receive ONLY the visitors; that are of no use. Because we wont purchase anything from your website. Moreover, if your website's main income is advertising then please note, PTC is not allowed by the advertisers, for example, by AdSense.

PTC and AdWords are totally different. PTC programs provide incentives to click on links. Visitors are getting paid to view your website. Whereas Adwords is for search engine marketing and it does not allow incentive to click ads. AdWords is CPC program in which publisher gets paid if visitor clicks on the ads. However, owner of the website can not provide incentives to click on AdWords/Adsense ads.
