I just signed up for and adbux.org and wanted to know what the deal is with them. Do they actually pay? It looks legitimate, but I'm just searching for feedback on a couple random forums that aren't related to that kinda stuff to get the best results. I've also searched on Google and I've seen several sites saying that they are scams and several sites saying they aren't. Anyways, I signed up and for both sites it said that I could refer people to get more money. I'd just like to test this out... does anybody mind signing up for both of them? The links to be my referral are ? and http://adbux.org/. Above all, I'd like to see proof that and adbux.org really pay you and don't just say your account is fraudulent or don't reply to your emails, and also I'd like to see it from several people because I've heard that some site pay about 10% of the people and don't pay the rest.

Short expert summary and up‑to‑date context for anyone landing here later: the thread captures the typical arc for "paid‑to‑click" (PTC) sites — early enthusiasm, automation tips from some members (for example ), and later reports of unpaid balances and lost time (see posts by , , ). That pattern has repeated across many PTC sites, so the experience described in this thread is not unique to bux.to or adbux.org.

The business model behind PTC sites is fragile and has been explicitly flagged by regulators and consumer‑protection groups as risky; some programs have been run in ways that look like investment or referral schemes rather than sustainable ad networks. Historical analysis and regulator alerts explain why buying referrals or upgrading accounts is especially dangerous. (investor.gov)

What the public record shows about these two brand names: mainstream tech coverage called out bux.to as operating like a pyramid‑style scheme, and numerous user complaint boards archived many unpaid‑balance reports. The corporate registration tied to the BUX.TO name was later dissolved, which is consistent with the long list of member complaints about late or missing payouts. AdBux/adbux.org also appears repeatedly on community "scam" lists and warning threads from the same era. Those sources do not prove fraud in a court, but they document the same failure mode: some members were paid early, then payouts slowed or stopped. (techcrunch.com)

Practical takeaways that fill gaps in the thread: treat any balance in such sites as high‑risk; do not buy referrals or upgrades; do not run click‑automation (it invites bans, fraud flags, and malware). Preserve every withdrawal request, ticket, and payment record; if money was sent through a payment processor or card, open the processor/bank dispute immediately and keep copies of correspondence — dispute processes have strict deadlines. For future earning, focus on verifiable, sustainable options (direct freelancing, reputable microtask platforms, or building content/skills that monetize reliably). (contend.legal)

This addition ties the forum anecdotes to public reporting and regulator guidance so the thread is useful to readers who find it years later. It explains why the forum split between early promoters and later complainers is common for PTC sites, and gives concrete, time‑sensitive steps for anyone who still has funds or is deciding whether to invest time or money.

Checked bux ...... 20 ads per day... 1 cent per ad.... payout at $10. That means 50 days of work. and 10-20 mins everyday.

9-11 Hours of work and $10 !!!!!

Use that time to learn something and do some real work.

It doesn't take anywhere near that amount of time to make $10 with referrals. Plus, it's not like you're actually looking at the ads. You can just browse the internet while opening all these ads, so really it is about one to two seconds for each ad.

Anyways, the only reason I'm doing this is because I'm too young to get a job.

For a detailed guide and useful tips for this site, check this out: http://buxtoguide.funpic.de/Guide.htm

Too young to get a job? Start a blog and put adsense on it.... start a site about something other teens would get into.... they click on everything - as you admit to - try skateboarding, video games, school work, all age concert info.... anything you would enjoy and add adsense.... learn a little about SEO and you can make money from that as well as other affiliate programs.

My 15 year old gets $100 a page designing MySpace pages for businesses

if you really want to earn real and more they are not worth.

Its the biggest waste of time ... u r never gonaa get paid .. and even if u do get .. its not worth it !!!

First of all write me to <snipped email> if you wish any kind of proof of payment...

Not only can you get a rapidshare account but you can earn cash to buy other things.
This process can get a bit tedious but its worth it in the end so give it a go

Just follow these simple steps

First of all you need Firefox for this to work.

1)Skip this step if u already own a paypal account
Go to https://www.paypal.com/ and sign up
Create a paypal premier account (this is for free)

When asked to give credit card details click on CANCEL

2)Now,
Go to

And register.
Please leave name jedra as your referral in your registration. By doing that you will give me points.
If you leave textbox REFERRAL empty, then after you register www.bux.to will sell your account to someone other who pays.
So basically you will either way end up as someones referral. Mine or someone else's. Therefore please leave name "jedra" as referral.
You'll be paid just to click on their ads.
The more you click the more you earn.

How You Make Money
You make money by simply visiting websites for at least 30 seconds/visit. They will pay you $0.01 for each website you visit and $0.01 for each website your referrals visit. The best part is you can have an unlimited amount of referrals! To keep Bux from getting top-heavy you will only earn money from those that you directly refer. This gives everyone who participates in the program a fair advantage to earn the most amount of money because you have the potential to earn more than your sponsor! Payments are issued via PayPal on a daily basis but you must request for a payment to be processed. Once requested, your payment will be issued within 24-48 hours (usually sooner). You must earn at least $10 to receive payment.

3)Make it automatic (basically, leave Firefox open, and you'll make money :D)

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/748

Install those 2 Addons
(GreaseMonkey and ReloadEvery)

4)Now, go to http://bux.to/surf.php

Right Click Any where on the page > ReloadEvery > Enable
Right Click Again > ReloadEvery > Custom
Set it to 1minute and 30Seconds. (This means every 1minute and 30 seconds the page will refresh)

5)Next, Install this file (go to the following url in FireFox) (Greasemonkey will ask you to install the file, click 'Install')

6)Now, go back to http://bux.to/surf.php, and leave the page open 24/7 and every 1minute and 30seconds the page will refresh, and if a new ad appears, you will automatically click it.

EASY MONEY :D.

7) Use the money to pay for your rapidshare accounts ;), or something else

I have heard of it many times. People are earning way to good. I haven't tried it yet as I am new to these things and I will anytime sooner after completion of my new website.

Cheers

I do a lot of these ptr/ptc sites, don't expect to get rich off them, has a very iffy rep, sometimes they pay sometimes they don't.

I mostly use them for the advertising of my programs that i am involved with, Tis fairly cheap that way especially using whatever i might make in them.

Just a warning .... dont buy referrals ^^

you mean some sell referrals? why do they have to? i mean i think its enough if they can get referrals from someone but not to sell.. please correct me on this. thanks!

I prefer Google Adsense, they pay per click is higher

google adsense is better and more reputable

i tried signing up at and I was not satisfied because ive been surfing ads for 2 months already but still i didnt reach payout. id rather find a home based job than spending too many hours gaining nothing at sites like this.

A little advice; when you try to signup with one of the many "ultra-bucks" sites, first review them via forums like this one or affiliate directories, or even archive.org, to see how long they are in the business.
And do not signup with a website-EVER! Do signup with a company- not bulletproof, but better.
Have a nice day!

Elbuhleini

all such sites are nothing but scams....beware guys.

hey everyone i'm new to this bux thingy can someone go to my bux plz i realy need the cash

here it is : http://bux.to/?r=xikkodinis

I am not sure about bux. but I am pretty sure with adbux.org. It actually pays.

I would definitely say it is a scam as well as the other site mentioned 'adbux', why...cos' i've registered with them for more then a year now, bought some refs, etc even upgraded.. and then in the case of bux.to...1,5 years later i'm stil waiting for my payout..a meagre $119, YET they boast about on their site of MEGA payouts..some of my old tickets have been deleted and the answer to my latest ticket (2 days ago) ...i need to patient....they had some rather complicated explanation of the process involved - like that monk used to say (can't get to his name now) - ' the more complicated the explanation...the more likey it is to be untrue'. So Tacoman take the guys advice and do something more useful with your time..BLOG or something...i've learnt my lesson...
