As far as I know bing gives importance in
-Having an older domain age
-Having inbound links from websites that included the primary keyword in the referring site’s title tags- in other words, building inbound links from other SEOd sites and directories as opposed to being from just anywhere.

Don't hit me for being too obvious here, but don't all the major Search Engines pretty much tend to follow one another? This is different if you're trying to target local ads or whatnot such as in Google, but either way.

You might also try looking on Bng tiself for pages it has indexed and getting backlinks from there.

Bing is pretty easy to optimize for. If you on page optimization is good rankings are easy to attain in this search engine. Choosing the correct metatags and keywords will go a long way.
