Hi,
Something that is interesting for webmasters, and SEO.
Google announced a new algorithm change to reduce the ranking of 'perceived' spammers.

This latest update appears to target keyword stuffing (lists of keywords) and article spinning.
This will reduce the rank of the website with spam keywords in their content.

Short, practical follow‑up to what started and to ’s note that this was the “Penguin” era — if a site lost positions, the recovery path is mostly diagnosis + targeted fixes rather than guessing.

Start with the basics: check Search Console for any Manual Actions and the Performance graph to pin the date/range of the drop. If Search Console shows a manual action, follow the listed remediation steps and send a clear Reconsideration (Request Review) once you’ve fixed the issues. ()

On‑page cleanup (keyword stuffing / spun text). Search for pages that read awkwardly or repeat lists of keywords, then either rewrite them into helpful, original content, consolidate thin/duplicated pages, or noindex/redirect pages that offer no real value. Use the site: operator and your own analytics to find the problem pages, fix them, then request reindexing for important URLs. Google’s spam policies and content guides explain the behaviors to remove or rewrite. (developers.google.com)

Backlinks and link removal. Export your inbound links (Search Console + a crawler/third‑party tool), contact webmasters to remove clearly spammy links, and only use Google’s Disavow tool when removal isn’t possible — document every removal attempt before you disavow. Since Penguin was later folded into Google’s core and became realtime, cleaned sites can see algorithmic recovery once pages are recrawled/reindexed. (developers.google.com)

Quick checklist: (1) Manual Actions? fix + request review; (2) Remove/rewite keyword‑stuffed or spun pages; (3) Audit links, remove or disavow; (4) Submit sitemaps / request indexing and monitor Search Console performance. Be patient and focus on people‑first content and clear documentation of fixes — that’s what makes recovery stick. ()

This is nice & its will more effect on SEO. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the share. I have read articles related to google latest algorithms for spammers and I also found some decrease of search results. Well I am looking for some help in this problem. If someone's website lost its position in Google searches in these days what would he/she do .

This new update is know as Penguin. It caused a drop in rankings for a few keywords in SERPs for a site of mine.
