It's the money. Isn't it?

The difference is Paid SEO and Non Paid SEO is advertising. Google, Facebook and other social media advertising includes in Paid SEO. You can simply call it SEM ot, Search Engine Marketing.

PPC, or pay per click, is when you use Google Ads to advertise on the Google search results by bidding on keyword searches. You pay per click for each visitor you get.

SEO, or search engine optimization, is the set of skills to optimize your placement organically in the search results. On page SEO is optimizing your site structure, user experience, site navigation, content, and lots of other technical things to make Google love and appreciate your content so that it will rank well. Off page SEO is getting other sites to link to your web pages, since a fundamental part of Google’s algorithm is ranking pages based on how many other pages and sites link to them. There are lots of strategies related to this as well since not every link is created equal.

As mentioned above, search engine marketing (SEM) is the broader term used to encompass both SEO and PPC.
