Google said at today's Google Search Central Live event that a core update is in the works and coming soon, although not necessarily before the holidays. This is different than previous years where, best I can recollect, Google almost always rolled out a core update right at the beginning of the holiday season.

Also, Performance on search results in Search Console now lets you break down by week or month, which is something that I was actually just thinking about wanting last week. (I previously had to use Google Analytics to do it.) Unfortunately, it seems to be still super delayed for me, and I haven't heard any word on it catching up for others.

Waiting with baited breath for page indexing to update itself. I think this is the longest lag everrrrrr.

Grammar nazi checking in.

The expression is "bated breath", a short form of "abated breath". "Baited breath" means you just ate sardines.

OK. Technically not a grammar issue. But I'm still a grammar nazi. Perhaps I should start a "misused expressions" thread.

Sorry, it was a typo. I knew that :)
