it depends on your website content and your website traffic and from where this traffic is comming if you are going to earn money from adsense or not..

The majority of online publishers do that => Offer free content for website visitors in exchange for display and text ads.

You can make money through adsense. If you have a lot of visitors in your site, then surely you can earn $.

I agree. Adsense works, but it all depends on where your traffic is coming from, and what they're looking for.
