Hi,
I have a Toshiba A10-S169 laptop. A week before it stopped working, with the Orange LED blinking in a specific pattern. I checked the service manual and could understand that the blinking pattern reads as HEX 'D2', which says that "1R25-B1V voltage is 1.063V or less when the computer is booting up.". From the manual I could understand that '1R25-B1V' corresponds to the voltage to the memory section.

I took it to Toshiba service center and they told that the motherboard needs to be replaced( which would cost a lot. ) But the problem clearly states that its a problem only with the power controller section.

Could anyone please give me some hardware ( SMD level ) help to identify the exact problem. I'm in Bangalore, India, so if I could get some contacts to get it repaired in India, that also would be really helpful.

Appreciate any help.
Thanks a bunch,
Johny
