Hi everyone, i'm just wondering if anyone can help me determine if the fault i am faced with is the inverter or the backlamp. I have a friends HP NC4010 with a screen fault, on boot you can faintly see the splash screen & Windows boot, usually i would say the inverter is shot BUT apparently this model also has a backlamp fitted so short of any burn or physical damage is there any way of identifying which is at fault ?
