Hi. I'm a new notebook user.
I'd like to know that, if I leave my notebook on for more than 8 hours, without going into Standby mode or so, will it cause my display screen to get burnt or something?
If I go to Standby or Hibernating mode, I would be disconnected from the network. I'd like to leave it connected while I am away for that long hours.
Please advise.

Shouldnt hurt it a bit.. I have 5-7 laptops going here at any given time after repairs to test drive them,(somtimes for 3 days straight) The backlight is a CCFL.. (small flourescent bulb w/ a ballast).. They do heat up a little but not enough to do a nuclear meltdown..
