not really, the GPU doesnt suffer much if the games configuration is set for multiple display enhancement in Nvidia control panel.

i only have one 9800GTX and it runs perfectly with dual displays while gaming.

but with SLI (2 GPU'S in 1pc) one tends to turn off.
