I just bought a used 1.42 GHz 14" iBook G4 and the ac adapter that came with it appears to be the 45w version. It works, although it might be running warm, I'm not sure what's normal.
It doesn't say "45w" on it but does say the output is "24. V --- 1.875A". I see the same output specs on another 12" 500 MHz G3 I have, so I think it's the 45w.
Is this correct ac adapter for my 14" iBook, or am I supposed to use the 60w one?
Do the 45w and 65w adapters have different plugs on them?
