Hi i was wondering if anyone can tell me if there is a way to get my xp to boot. Found a error message tellin me to run chkdsk , but before i could do tat it crashed again and wont let me open windows ..just keeps goin in a visous circle of blue screen crash message to showin the xp logo and trin to load but then back to same crash message. i dont have muh back up disks where i am help!!!!

Jump to PostCan you boot into Safe Mode? If you can run the chkdsk from there. Otherwise you will need the disk to access the recovery console.

I'll just plug it in another machine [if you have access to one] by slaving it and run the chckdsk that way. See if that works
