Ok, here's the deal. I recently fried my graphics card and I had my board tested and found that my AGP slot was fried as well but was told everything else on the board survived. Now here lies in the problem. I am trying to install a PCI graphics card to bypass the AGP slot altogether but I can't seem to get the board to pick it up. It won't even acknowledge that it's plugged in. Does this sound like a software problem and if so, How can fix a software problem without being able to see whats on my monitor?

Thank you for any help. I'm at the end of my rope here...

I almost forgot to give the specs:
Its an ASUS A7V333 board.
GEForce 8400 VC.
AMD Chip (I can't for the life of me remember the specs of the Chip)

Is some cases all of the PCI slots run through the AGP to get to the South Bridge. yours may be one of those cases.

So if your AGP is Fried then you won't be able to use any PCI slots.
