Working on a gateway tablet notebook with synaptic touch pad p/s2 mouse, where it was working fine recently until after recent windows updates for vista business. Now some reason no matter if you touch the pad to move the mouse, left, or right click the left click gets stuck....not physically but on the tray icon shows green on the left button and won't allow you to select, open or double click anything. Tried turning off the tap to touch, remove and reinstalling driver, searched for update but through device manager, did not search web for update. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue and if it was easily fixable without rollback or does it just need updated driver?
