Just read the closed thread "Hard drive recovery and cryogenics..." and wondering if freezing might help recover a camera 2GB Lexar Flash drive. I successfully took and stored several hundred pictures on a Kodak digital camera in .jpg format. Replaced batteries after getting "Battery Exhausted" alert, and when I turned the camera back on, got "Disk is Not Formatted" :-( The camera continues to function with RAM and another Flash Drive.

These pictures are the sole record of a once in a lifetime visit to wife's relatives. FWIW, camera was being used in a tropical environment, 90-100F.

Years ago, I used low level software to read 8" floppies at the track/sector level, which allowed copying and/or repairing of corrupted disks. Perhaps there is similar software available for this situation.

Thanks for any ideas!
