I want to replace the AGP video card in my Powermac G5 dual 2.0 (early 2004).
The existing card is a ATI Radeon 9600. It only has 64 meg of RAM and will not drive my 26" monitor.
I have an AGP ATI Radeon 9800 pro Mac Edition video card that I pulled from my older G4 that power the monitor with no problem. I noticed that the 9800 has a 12v connector on the video card. The current 9600 doesnt have a 12v (4 pin) power connector on it like the 9800 has.
Is there a cable that I can use to power the 9800? I noticed that the cables from my G4 that I used to power the card will not plug into the G5, logicboard or power supply. Is there a special cable?
Or is the card even compatible with my AGP G5?

Thanks
Mike
