My laptop does not want to start up. the screen just goes black when i turn it on.there is a lone blinking light on the top right corner thats white while the rest of the screen is black. can anyone help me or guide me in the right direction? any help would be greatly apprectiated. Thank you.

have you connected it on an external monitor?if it works on external monitor then you have to check the inverter and the CCFL.
