I have a old desktop computer that I want to fire up and get the specs off of so that I can sell it. I do not have a monitor at home. I only have my laptop.
So, my question is:
Can I someway connect the old computer to the monitor on my laptop so that I can pull the specs off of it ?? i.e. - I would like to view my old computer using my laptop monitor? Is it possible. If so, please help.

Sure, but you're probably better off just getting a thrift store keyboard, monitor and mouse. Cheaper. This is less bulky though:
