I have Clear.com 4G Mobile USB "WiMax", which is great, but a friend told me I could "bridge" the WiMax with my internal Wi-Fi and/or an ethernet connection. Is this possible? If so, would my bandwidth be increased or only as fast as the fastest connection? And how is this done in Windows 7?
For instance, the main library here sits on top of the T3 backbone of the city -- 100 megabit pipeline and speeds are phenomenal when I plug in the ethernet cable but only so-so with the Wi-Fi they offer. Now, if I could bridge the 4G WiMax with the ethernet, would my speed improve? Or possibly be negatively impacted? If there's any advantage to this, I'd sure like to know how it's done. Thanks for any help or tips on this.
