Hi guys,
I'm considering purchasing a completely knackered G3 bubble iMac from eBay for a couple of pence. I really only want it for the case and screen for a little project I want to do.
I want to replace the Mac core with an Intel board and load it with a Linux Distro that closely resembles something like the Mac OS. I was considering just going for it, but I would like to know if anyone has heard of this being done or have seen any good mods like this?
Also I was wondering if any design guys might have the dimension of all the fastening points on these cases. Maybe a schematic showing the cases dimensions and such so I can digitally prototype what I can fit inside.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
