As a gift, I just received the Dell Inspiron 15R--N5010 Intel Core i3.
I want to know how to use the battery to maximize its performance and extend its battery life.
If I am at home, should it run on battery power?
If the answer is no, does the battery stay attached to the computer when it is 100% and it is plugged into the ac adapter?
my opinion ,then answer is no,and yes you leave the battery in the laptop when plugged into power .
when new you should charge battery /unplug,use till battery dies,regharge/kill maybe 3 times .then just use and charge as needed
