I have a sony vaio 505TS in my posession that i am trying to fix. I'm a student missionary in the philippines and i'm fixing it for one of the pastors. When you turn it on, regardless of whether or not you boot windows, after a little while the screen turns white and random colors. i have noticed that it doesn't appear to be just the display itself though. you can't perform operations on the keyboard while it's doing this. every once in a while the image will come clear and you can do stuff. it doesn't have an external vga port so i can't check that. any ideas would be appreciated.
