My acer aspire 5735 laptop wont reboot, it load and freezes on loading windows. If I try rebooting in safe mode it freezes also on loading drives and gives a sound. if I try repairing windows it fails to locate hdd as if it has no hdd...please help

Try rebooting without the battery. This will let you know if you have a battery that has gone bad or if it's further into the booting process.
