In my Notebook HP COMPAQ 6910p
When i power on the device.. the laptop gets on and i can see nothing but a black screen (seen like when turned off) with a faster processor fan speed..

The same happened twice before and itself randomly got correct when i kept it unused for few days..
But this time no change has occured..

Any solution pls....???

Is this that 2007 model? It's well past it's time. That said I do know some that found it for 120 bucks on a Woot sale. Try the usual. A new CMOS battery and hope.

Does it have a VGA port for an external monitor. Plug in a monitor and boot it just to be sure you have no LCD display. If the external also fails, then you have more serious issues. It's probably not worth repairing a laptop that old.
