I have a insignia D400a and i was cruising along on the web when the pc froze. i shut it off then pushed the power on button. the lights come on on the keyboard, the power lights to the pc come on and the fans are running. i even put a restore disk in the drive and it ran for a minute and nothing happened. when i turn the power on the INSIGNIA intel inside image appears on the monitor, but it doesn't go past that. ihave no idea what to do. help please?

p.s. i am a demolitions guy in the army and i am tempted to see what c-4 will do to my computer if it doens't work soon. :)

1) How old is the computer
2) What OS do you currently use?
3) What are the specs on the machine?
4) What are you willing spend to get a new one?
