Hi,
When i turn on my laptop, i hear a weird noise (assumption-fan) and the screen is blank and am unable to log on to XP. If i press the power key and shut the comp down and repeat this process some 3-4 times, the weird sound is gone and Windows XP login screen is finally visible.
Is this a fan issue? Why do i get the blank screen initially? Is it possible to fix laptop fans by yourself without sending it to a service centre?
